Reticulated pythons are a species of snake found in southeast Asia. They’re the world’s longest snakes (growing up to 7 meters in length) and are one of two big snakes commonly found in the pet trade. They have a very complex geometric color pattern that allows them to fit into their surroundings virtually undetected. The colors include olive green, black, white, and gold in diamond shapes.The Reticulated Python is an excellent swimmer and they often go far out from the shore.

These snakes require a large, strong tank with high temperatures and humidity levels. They only eat every 10 -14 days and prefer guinea pigs, rabbits and big rats. Pythons are nonvenomous and generally not considered to be dangerous.
